Throughout the time I’ve spent as a wedding photographer, one things remain the same. I love to travel and capture love stories to be treasured for a lifetime. This destination wedding in Paris, couldn’t have been more beautiful. Oftentimes I find myself filled with gratitude I’m able to call this passion a job. When we were standing in the Chateau de Courtomer, was one of those gratitude-filled moments. Love is something so special and being asked to capture it, is the best feeling ever.

Weddings are often described as chaotic, stressful, and overwhelming – this one wasn’t that at all. Our gorgeous bride spent the morning stress-free, and full of joy as she got ready to promise her forever to her handsome hubby. The feeling of peace and excitement was palpable, ensuring those feelings were caught on camera made it all that much more incredible.

Our bride and groom chose to get ready in adjacent rooms to avoid seeing one another. It was important to save that emotional moment for their first look. While getting ready for their big destination wedding in Paris, the two were full of excitement. Once our couple was dressed impeccably and ready for their destination wedding in Paris, it was time for their first look.

An Emotional French Affair

Before bringing the groom down, we decided to get some bridal portraits and let the bride have some fun in her gown. Her gown was the perfect romantic and graceful addition to the event with layers of gorgeous tulle. Such a beautiful gown great for dancing into life with her new partner.

After the two shared an intimate first look, we took more portraits around the chateau. Once the portraits were done, it was time for one more surprise. The beautiful bride changed into a light blue gown for their destination wedding in Paris. The light gown was the perfect complement to the wedding ceremony arch, and brought the event to life.

A Destination Wedding in Paris to Remember

Nevertheless, the couple and their love story were ones I won’t forget, and will forever be dreaming of traveling back to Paris to capture more love.
