Looking to create an elegant outdoor wedding that stands out against every wedding you have ever been to? Consider having a boho backyard wedding! Mr. and Mrs. Bain’s backyard wedding in Eagle, Idaho was absolutely inspiring. It was elegant and timeless, but with a bohemian flare. The balance between a traditional wedding aesthetic and new age boho touches was perfect.
Getting Ready
A boho backyard wedding can be both beautiful and sentimental. The bride chose to be married in her family’s backyard, which made it easy to get ready in a comfortable and homey space. She was surrounded by her favorite ladies, as well as a familiar and meaningful location. As she got ready with family and friends there were many more memories created in her family home.
Meanwhile, the groom spent time with his groomsmen outside enjoying the view. They had a toast, joked around and eagerly waited from the bride to be ready for their first look. Another reason to have a backyard wedding is how relaxed the atmosphere is. There was no rush for this bride to stick strictly to a timeline for a venue. Instead she, and the groom, were able to enjoy the morning.
Boho Backyard Wedding First Looks
The most emotional part of the entire wedding day is typically a first look. It is such a vulnerable moment between the bride and groom as they see each other for the first time. And as a result, the emotions just pour out! Mr. and Mrs. Bain had a beautiful first look together surrounded by lush foliage and trees. It was in these moments that they were able to have raw conversations and prepare with each other for their ceremony.
Then, the bride opted for a first look with her dad. This is a trend that I adore, and is becoming more popular. It is an opportunity to create another memory on your wedding day with one of the most important people in your life. This father-daughter time is always filled with tender emotions and beautiful conversations that you will cherish for a lifetime.
Boho Backyard Wedding Decor
The Bain’s boho backyard wedding decor was a gorgeous combination of classic wedding day vibes and bohemian influences. They kept it traditional with white linens, chairs and candles. And added boho touches in the ornate tree hangings, unique florals, and bridal details.
Mr. and Mrs. Bain had a lovely ceremony under a white tent, surrounded by their loved ones. I feel honored to have been part of their wedding day to celebrate and document their love for one another. Looking for your Boise wedding photographer? Reach out and let’s see if we would be a good match!
