When these two incredible souls approached me and told me about their dream Boise wedding, I was blown away. Throughout my career I have seen beautiful things, and told incredible love stories, but this wedding may take the cake. If you know me, you know how much I value experiences, and love. This colorful Boise Zoo wedding was a seamless combination of both of those things. This love story is one I’ll reflect back on for years to come, and I can’t wait to share some of my favorite moments.

Getting Ready for Colorful Boise Zoo Wedding

Before our beautiful bride stepped into her forever with the groom, she was treated to a morning of glamour. As a photographer, one of my main goals is to help my clients create a legacy that will live on forever – through photographs. How do we do that? Storytelling, taking pictures through all the moments, and memorializing feelings. Will you remember what lipstick you wore on your wedding day? Maybe. My hope for my couples is that when they look at their wedding photographs, they’ll remember how they felt in that exact moment.

While the bride got ready, I created a wedding capsule with some of the key elements of their day, the invitations, bride’s shoes, jewelry. All the things that the couple spent months curating. Preserved for their loved ones to look back on for years to come. After our bride was ready to go, it was time for the colorful Boise Zoo wedding ceremony.

Woodland Forest Ceremony Inspiration

Our couple invited guests to an intimate woodland forest inspired ceremony in the zoo. The ceremony space transported everyone in attendance to a greenery filled space. It was such a breath of fresh air, so romantic and a fun spot to find in the space. After the couple became one, it was time for all the fun.

Later, the newly married couple invited guests to explore the zoo, interact with butterflies and ride the carousel. Nevertheless, I’m always impressed by my couples that are able to entertain guests, and this wedding did just that memorable moments.
