European Chic Wedding Chateau de Fleurs | Eagle, Idaho

bride and groom running off together after elegant european chic wedding day in eagle, idaho

Torie and Mitch are some of the kindest people, and shooting their European Chic wedding in Eagle, Idaho was such an honor! Their classically elegant wedding was held at Chateau de Fleurs. Throughout the venue there were beautiful touches of European charm, which brought the whole day together. Torie and Mitch have such hearts of gold, and wanted their day to be filled with family and love, and it was just that.

The couple have roots in Boise, Torie grew up there, and Mitch spent 10 years there! They lived 1 mile from one another when they started dating, and took it slow. They spent time building their friendship and went from there. As they began developing feelings for one another, one of them moved away and immediately realized they missed one another. Now they live in Washington together with cute pup Stella! Although Stella wasn’t able to be there for their big day, she was at their engagement session and it was such a special way to celebrate coming together as a family.

European Chic Wedding Details

Throughout their day at Chateau de Fleurs there were elegant touches of blush, white, and off white. Which went incredible with their modern romantic European wedding vibes. The venue was inspired by Chateau de Versailles with a beautiful charm, and gardens similar to European gardens. It was such a romantic event. Torie’s aunt lives in Washington and did all of the florals throughout their European chic wedding and they were stunning!

Torie had the most fabulous Jimmy Choo shoes, and she was in love with them. I love when brides have fun details like this, it makes the day that much more special by creating sentimental items to keep forever. Later, the couple wrote letters to one another and read them before the wedding, Torie and Mitch were incredibly emotional.Hearing how the couple feels about each other was my favorite part. Sometimes that happens in the vows, during the ceremony, and sometimes that happens in letters prior to the ceremony.

These are the real moments, and those words and memories are what I want each couple to have. To be able to remember exactly how they felt in that moment, to have those feelings of love, gratitude, so much joy and happiness come rushing back to them. When they see these photographs, they can remember what they wrote. They can remember how blessed they are to have each other still.

After, we whisked our couple away for an intimate first look in the gardens. With the incredible European chic details found throughout the gardens, it was a great location to bring everything together. Mitch isn’t super emotional, but seeing Torie for the first time definitely got him choked up, and he couldn’t help expressing the raw emotion. These moments are my favorite.

Bridal Party Fun

Torie and Mitch had the most supportive bridal party on their European chic wedding day. With incredible energy between their friends we were able to get some fun shots while maintaining that chic wedding day look. The men looked dapper and so stylish, and they had a blast spending time together.

Later in the evening the groom and his groomsmen danced the night away during the reception and it was a great way to end their romantic European Chic event. I always strive to capture the real moments in between throughout a wedding day, and this day was filled with intimate touches. It was such an honor to be apart of their day.

Golden Hour Adventures

The couple brought a 1970’s Mercedes convertible and you bet we used it for some incredibly chic formals. It was classic and chic, just like their modern romantic European chic wedding day. We spent golden hour in the gardens for some breathtaking images and fun with the couple for 30 mins or so during their epic reception. before their epic reception. I love ‘stealing’ my couples away for a few minutes to truly enjoy themselves and take in the moment. That’s another one of my favorite moments because I get to whisk my couples away for a few moments alone.

Torie and Mitch really wanted their wedding photography to be artistic and tasteful. Also showcasing elements of real personality and loved ones celebrating them. Throughout their day we made sure to capture these elements and I think we did just that.

Torie and Mitch love to spend time with family and friends, and cocktail hour was spent doing just that. They had a live band from Salt Lake City, Diamonds. They were incredibly talented, and had tons of instruments. Throughout the event there were hilarious toasts given by family and friends alike. Torie has a huge Asian family that is filled with such vivacious and loud personalities, hilarious humor, and tons of love. Her Dad gave a toast that stole the show, detailing the 12 ways to survive being married into Torie’s Japanese family.

Torie and Mitch, both love to dance and party, and they definitely delivered, surrounded by the people they love most. The couple ended the evening with a beautiful sparkler send off with family and friends.
