Many times looking back on wedding days during editing, or even now – blogging, I’m filled with such joy. Throughout the wedding planning process feelings of stress, doubt, and sleepless nights may be evident. However, on your wedding day, be like Rachael and Brad, and truly be in the moment. I admire couples that can set aside the worry and be present on their day. Getting Ready for Their Timeless Still Water Hollow Wedding

Our couple chose to stick with tradition and get ready separately and save that first moment for when Rachael walks down the aisle. While the couple got ready with their wedding party, both were smiling the entire time. The absolute joy and feeling of excitement was palpable. These two are so perfect together! Nevertheless, I am so happy I was able to play a small part in their forever. Once both bride and groom were ceremony ready, it was time for their first touch and private vow reading.

First Touch & Private Vow Reading

I have always been a fan of saving the first look for the aisle, but the idea of a first touch or first prayer pulls at my heart strings! Rachael and Brad chose to share a first touch. This allows both bride and groom to hold the other’s hand without seeing each other before the ceremony. It is the perfect way to encourage the couple to remember the reason for the seemingly chaotic day. After they held hands for a few quiet minutes, they decided to read their vows. Throughout the past couple of years, couples have begun reading their vows to one another before the ceremony. The idea of sharing this intimate moment makes my heart so happy. Wedding days are filled with so many peering eyes, moments like this are that much more special. After this, it was time for their timeless Still Water Hollow wedding.

An Emotional Walk

As Rachael prepared to walk down the aisle, the pure emotion that was felt in that room was incredible. These moments are once in a lifetime and so special.
